Willow Nicole Ann Childress Obituary

Willow Nichole Ann Childress. Born on October 7, 2024, in Memphis, Tennessee, Willow was lovingly received into the arms of the angels on June 12, 2025, at Le Bonheur Children’s Hospital in Memphis.

Though her time on Earth was brief, Willow’s spirit was mighty. From her very first breath, she showed courage, determination, and a fighting heart that inspired all who knew her. Affectionately nicknamed “Bubbles,” she became known for the sweet little bubbles she was always blowing, a joyful symbol of her playful and gentle soul.

Willow was rarely seen without a smile on her face—her joy was infectious, and her smile lit up every room. One of her favorite things was to kick her little feet, especially when someone dared to touch them—her way of showing her spunky, spirited personality.

In her short life, Willow touched countless hearts and brought light and love to those around her. She will forever be remembered for her sweet nature, her brave heart, and the boundless love she gave in such a short time.

Graveside services for Willow will be held at 12:30 PM on Tuesday, June 17, 2025, at Fairview Cemetery in Dyersburg, Tennessee. Officiating this service will be Rev. Nick Wright. Visitation will be held on Tuesday from 11:00 AM until 12:00 PM at Johnson-Williams Funeral Home.
