Willie Gray "Bill" Lemons, 86, of Tatumville, Tennessee died on Monday, August 1, 2022, at his residence.
Born Thursday, July 23, 1936, in Tatumville, Tennessee, he was the son of the late Jesse Gray Lemons and the late Emma Lou Walker Lemons. Mr. Lemons was a farmer and the former owner/operator of the Tatumville Gin Company. He was a member of Mt. Tirzah Baptist Church and was presently attending Rehoboth Church.
Funeral services for Mr. Lemons will be held at 4:00 PM on Thursday, August 4, 2022, in the Chapel of Johnson-Williams Funeral Home. Officiating this service will be Pastor David Richards, Bro. Jerry Foust, and Bro. Bill Taylor. Interment will follow at Rehoboth Cemetery. Visitation for Mr. Lemons will be from 2:00 PM until 4:00 PM on Thursday, August 4, 2022, at Johnson-Williams Funeral Home.
He leaves to cherish his memory, his wife Linda Sue Barham Lemons of Tatumville, Tennessee; three sons, Terry Lemons (Shelly) of Newbern, Tennessee, Jeff Lemons (Kim) of the Nauvoo Community and Anthony Lemons of Tatumville, Tennessee; three daughters, Brenda Lemons of Newbern, Tennessee, Lorilee Lemons of Jackson, Tennessee and Andrea Agee (Steven) of Dyer, Tennessee; one sister, Imogene Underwood of Oxford, Mississippi; fourteen grandchildren, Misty Gregson (Jayson), Josh Kolwyck (Carol), Blake Kolwyck (Kayla), Jeremy Lemons, Emilee Montgomery (Marcus), Matthew Lemons (Amber), Hilliary Dumser (Evan), C.J. Fowler (Jessica), Cord Lemons, Mac Lemons, Lydia Agee, Jonah Gray Agee, Elijah Agee, and Jude Agee and ten great grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one son, Timothy Lemons; one daughter, Paula Kolwyck; two brothers, Cecil Lemons, and Otis Lemons; four sisters, Marie Jowers, Linda Fay Roark, Helen Hendricks, and Reba Elgin and one grandson, Colt Lemons.
Honoring Mr. Lemons as pallbearers will be Jeff Lemons, Terry Lemons, Anthony Lemons, Ronnie Collins, Jimmy Burr, Tyler Holcomb, and Tanner Holcomb.
The family would like to thank Tanika Ross, Dorothy Henning, Jessica Deason, Shelby Robertson and Sherry Lawler for the care and kindness that they showed to their family.
