William Gregory McDearmon, 63, of Dyersburg, Tennessee died on Wednesday, December 31, 2025, at his residence in Dyersburg, Tennessee.
Born Friday, March 30, 1962, he was the son of William Royce McDearmon and the late Joy Ann Gilham McDearmon.
He was affectionately known as Greg to his family and the many friends he made throughout the years, who remember him as a kindhearted soul and who was a loyal friend to all who knew him.
Greg was known for his fierce work ethic and unwavering dedication. Whatever task was before him, he approached it with determination, pride, and integrity. Those qualities carried over into every part of his life, especially in the love he showed his family and friends. His devotion was loyal and unconditional, and he never hesitated to stand by the people he cared about.
Greg's friends have shared, with his sisters, that it was Greg’s steady love, encouragement, and support that helped them endure and survive some of the most difficult seasons of their lives. He was a source of strength, comfort, and reassurance — someone they could always count on.
Greg’s presence left a lasting impact on everyone who knew him. His kindness, generosity, and quiet strength will not be forgotten. He will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all whose lives were touched by knowing him.
A Celebration of Life Service for Greg will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, January 10, 2026, in the Chapel of Johnson-Williams Funeral Home. Officiating this service will be his family. Visitation will be held on Saturday from 10:30 AM until 11:00 AM at Johnson-Williams Funeral Home.
