Wanda "Nana" Carolyn Hall

Wanda "Nana" Carolyn Hall, 74, of Dyersburg, Tennessee died on Friday, April 8, 2022, at West Tennessee Healthcare-Dyersburg Hospital in Dyersburg, Tennessee.

Born Wednesday, April 9, 1947, in Dyersburg, Tennessee, she was the daughter of the late Bernard McAlister and the late Francis Brown McAlister. Ms. Hall worked for over thirty years at Colonial Rubber in Dyersburg, Tennessee and retired as the Lead Supervisor.

Graveside services for Ms. Hall will be held at 3:00 PM on Sunday, April 10, 2022, at New Haven Cemetery in Ridgely, Tennessee. Officiating this service will be Rev. Dan Tilly. Visitation for Ms. Hall will be held on Sunday, April 10, 2022, from 1:00 PM until 2:30 PM at Johnson-Williams Funeral Home in Newbern, Tennessee.

She leaves to cherish her memory, one daughter, Cristy Richards (David) of Dyersburg, Tennessee; one son, Mike McAlister (Anita) of Louisville, Kentucky and she was "Nana" to her five grandchildren, Katie Richards, Jon David Richards, Blake McAlister, Ashton Rickman, and Scotty McAlister and eight great grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Faye Moody.

Honoring Ms. Hall as pallbearers will be David Richards, Blake McAlister, Scotty McAlister, Larry Koonce, Williams Mathina, and Bobby Alvoid. Honorary pallbearer will be Jon David Richards.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that any memorial contributions be made to the Dyer County Community Cancer Fund, PO Box 1055, Dyersburg, Tennessee 38024.
