Tina Dawn Vestal

Tina Dawn Vestal, 52, of Dyersburg, Tennessee died on Sunday, February 8, 2026, at Alive Hospice in Nashville, Tennessee.

Born Wednesday, June 13, 1973 in Dyersburg, Tennessee.

Tina was a free spirit who found her greatest joy in the simple pleasures of life. She loved being outdoors, especially grilling. The beach was one of her favorite places, where she could relax.  Music filled her days and lifted her spirits.

Above all, Tina treasured the precious time she spent outside with her beloved son, Laith, and her faithful dog, Koda. Whether it was playing, talking, or simply enjoying a quiet moment together, those times meant everything to her. Her love for her son was deep and unwavering — he was the light of her life.

Funeral services for Ms. Vestal will be held 1:00 PM on Tuesday, February,17, 2026, in the Chapel of Johnson-Williams Funeral Home. Officiating this service will be Rev. Barry Fowler. Interment will follow in Sorrell's Chapel Cemetery near Dyersburg, Tennessee. Visitation will be held from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM on Monday, February 16, 2026, and from 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM on Tuesday at Johnson-Williams Funeral Home. 

Surviving are son, Laith Vestal of Nashville, Tennessee; two  daughters, Alyssa Newsom (John) of Fowlkes Tennessee and Nicole Deason (Aaron) of Tiptonville, Tennessee; her parents,  father, James and Ima Vestal of Finley, Tennessee; two brothers, Chris Vestal (Charlie) of RoEllen, Tenessee and Michael Vestal (Heather) of Trenton, Tennessee and she "MaMaw" to her three grandchildren, Kylie, Kenleigh and Kaysin.

Honoring Ms. Vestal as pallbearers will be John Newsom, Aaron Deason, Michael Vestal, Chris Vestal, Greg Vestal and Lance Vestal
