Thomas Neal "Bud" Travis, 81, of Newbern, Tennessee died on Wednesday, November 25, 2020, at his residence in Newbern, Tennessee.
Born Friday, November 3, 1939 in Bay, Arkansas, he was the son of the late Elvis Jackson Travis and the late Eula Effie Norris Travis. Mr. Travis was a Retired Engineer for Sandvick Windsor of Dyer, Tennessee and a member of the Dyer Assembly of God Church.
Graveside services for Mr. Travis will be held at 12:00 PM on Saturday, November 28, 2020 at McCorkle Cemetery near Newbern, Tennessee. Officiating this service will be Pastor Mark Kirkpatrick. Friends are asked to gather at the cemetery.
He leaves to cherish his memory, his wife of sixty-two years, Erna Lou Johnston Travis of Newbern, Tennessee; one son, Neal Travis (Nancy) of Medina, Tennessee; two daughters, Carol Saneford (Lynn) of Jackson, Tennessee and Linda Gonzalez (Frank) of Frisco, Texas; one brother, Jack Travis (Jennifer) of Bay, Arkansas; two sisters, Maxine Greuber of Salt Lake City, Utah and Joan Rodriguez (Rod) of Tampa, Florida; seven grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by one grandson, Jason Travis Saneford.
Honoring Mr. Travis as pallbearers will be Joshua Travis, Jonathan Travis, Jay Chartrand, Benjamin Saneford, Keith Sims and George Palmertree.
