Terry Lynn Brown

Terry Lynn Brown, 74. of Portageville, Missouri, died on Tuesday, August 29, 2023, at Jackson-Madison County General Hospital in Jackson, Tennessee.

Born Wednesday, March 9, 1949, in Dyersburg, Tennessee, he was the son of the late Johnny Brown and the late Aval Louise Clifton Brown.  Mr. Brown was a retired factory employee and self-employed scrap metal worker.

Graveside services for Mr. Brown will be held at 1:00 PM on Friday, September 1, 2023, at Church Grove Cemetery. Officiating this service will be Mr. Patrick Williams. Visitation will be held on Friday from 11:00 AM until 12:45 PM at Johnson-Williams Funeral Home. 

He is survived by his wife, Kim Brown of Portageville, Missouri; two sons, Terry Lynn Brown, Jr. (Amy) of Newbern, Tennessee and Anthony Lynn Brown of Portageville, Missouri; one daughter, Jessica Woods (Matt) of Texarkana, Texas; one, brother, Thomas Joel Aguliar of Cincinnati, Ohio; six sisters, Sharon Jean Seese (Mike) of Hamlet, Indiana, Yvonne Dallas (Justin) of Nashville, Tennessee, Denise Whitehead (Mark)of Elizabethtown, Indiana, Edwina Guffey of Franklin, Indiana, Shirley Burr of Dyersburg, Tennessee and Linda Adams of Lincoln, Illinois; eight grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one sister, Sylvia Winchester and a brother-in-law, Jerry Burr.

Honoring Mr. Brown as pallbearers will be Ricky Burr, Jacob Burr, Jimmy Burr, Derrick Burr, Alec Jackson and Jackie McCustion.
