Terry Riggs Obituary

Terry Riggs, 67, of Dyersburg, Tennessee died on Tuesday, December  21, 2021, at Jackson-Madison County General Hospital in Jackson, Tennessee.

Born Saturday, December 18, 1954 in Dyersburg, Tennessee, he was the son of the late John Franklin Riggs and the late Margie Douglas Riggs. Mr. Riggs was the maintenance supervisor for Tucker Properties, LLC. He loved old tractors and being a "Shade Tree Mechanic."

Visitation  for Mr. Riggs will be held from 12:00 until 2:00 on Monday, December 27, 2021 at Johnson-Williams Funeral Home.

He leaves to cherish his memory, one daughter, Kim Goff of Dyersburg, Tennessee: one step-daughter, Brittany Putman (Zack) of Dyersburg, Tennessee; two brothers, Bo Riggs (Carol) of Newbern, Tennessee and Pete Riggs (Sonja) of Dyersburg, Tennessee; three sisters, Lou Criswell (Billy) of Newbern, Tennessee, Carliss DeLosh (Ronnie) of Dyersburg, Tennessee and Lisa Collier (Latham) of Newbern, Tennessee; he was "Grand-Daddy" to his two grandsons, Matthew Goff (Emily) and Nathanial Goff(Katrina) of Dyersburg, Tennessee; two step-grandchildren, Oliva and Mya; one great-granddaughter, Clover Goff.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his companion of many years, Betty Adkins: half-sister, Gloria Myers; half-brother, Gilbert Douglas and his son-in-law, Robert Goff.
