Teresa Heathcott Erwin

Teresa Heathcott Erwin, 67, of Dyersburg, Tennessee died on Friday, April 28, 2023, at Tri-Star Centennial Medical Center in Nashville, Tennessee.

Born Monday, June 6, 1955 in Dyersburg, Tennessee, she was the daughter of the late Franklin T. Heathcott and the late Helen R. Climer  Heathcott. Mrs. Erwin was a retired LPN.  She will be remembered for her  "Big Heart" and the love and kindness that she always showed to others; always putting others before herself.  The times that she cherished the most were those making special memories with her family.

Funeral services for Mrs. Erwin will be held at 2:30 PM on Tuesday, May 2, 2023, in the Chapel of Johnson-Williams Funeral Home. Officiating this service will Mr. James Hill and Mrs. Martha Hill. Interment will follow in Fairview Cemetery in Dyersburg, Tennessee. Visitation will be held on Tuesday from 12:30 PM until 2:30 PM at Johnson-Williams Funeral Home.

She leaves to cherish her memory, her husband, Odie Erwin of Dyersburg, Tennessee; one son, Brian Johnson (Lisa) of Dyersburg, Tennessee; one daughter, Rebecca Johnson of Dyersburg, Tennessee; one step-son, Vernie Erwin of Elbridge, Tennessee; one step-daughter, Shonna McGee (Channing) of Troy, Tennessee; one brother, John Bill Childress (Joyce) of Dyersburg, Tennessee; one sister, Martha Sue Hill (James) of Kyle, Texas and she was "Meme" to her two grandchildren, Kelsey Johnson (Jacob Williams) and Kaleb Johnson; two great-grandchildren, Zachary Williams and Savannah Williams four step-grandchildren, Quentin Haycraft (Michelle), Braden Haycraft, Kain McGee and Camden McGee and one step-great-grandchild, Zoey Haycraft.

Honoring Mrs. Erwin as pallbearers will be Jacob Williams, Kaleb Johnson, Channing McGee, Bobby Bone, Tim Simmons and Timothy Gilliland. Honorary pallbearer will be Patrick Delorosa.
