Teresa Gay Jackson

Teresa Gay Jackson, 61, of Dyersburg, Tennessee, died on Saturday, January 3, 2026, at West Tennessee Healthcare-Dyersburg Hospital in Dyersburg, Tennessee.

Born on July 13, 1964, in Dyersburg, Tennessee, she was the daughter of the late Louis Jackson and the late Martha Sue Lyle Burns.

Private graveside services will be held at a later date.

She is survived by four sons, Jimmy Bartlett (Ashley) of Troy, Tennessee, Jason Bartlett (Melinda) of Gates, Tennessee, Joshua Henson of Burlington (April) of Burlington, North Carolina and Steven Henson; two brothers, Jeff Jackson (Jill) of Dyersburg, Tennessee and Michael Jackson of Dyersburg, Tennessee, one sister, Kim Jackson (Daniel), six grandchildren and her puppies.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, John W. Burns and two brothers, Richie Jackson and Leroy Jackson.
