Tammy Gwen Woodell, 68, a devoted caregiver, beloved mother, sister, and friend, passed away peacefully on Thursday, February 13, 2025, surrounded by her loving family. She entered the gates of Heaven with grace, leaving behind a legacy of kindness, selflessness, and unwavering love. Tammy was born on Wednesday, November 29, 1961, in Ridgely, Tennessee, to the late David Watson and the late Peggy Jean Ward Watson.
Born into a family of six, Tammy cherished the bonds of family above all else. She spent her life caring for those she loved, always putting others before herself with a warm heart and gentle touch. Her home was a place of comfort, where love and laughter thrived.
She found joy in the simple things—watching movies on TV, admiring the beauty of yellow roses, and wearing her favorite color, royal blue. But nothing brought her more happiness than the time she spent with her family, creating cherished memories that will live on in their hearts forever.
Though she is no longer with us, her love and kindness will continue to shine in the lives she touched. Tammy was a light in this world, and her spirit will remain forever in the hearts of those who were blessed to know her.
Cremation services for Mrs. Woodell are under the direction of Johnson-Williams Funeral Home. Rest in peace, dear Tammy. You will always be loved and never forgotten.
