Suzanne Kennedy Obituary

Suzanne Kennedy, 66, of Dyersburg, Tennessee died on Tuesday, March 29, 2022, at her residence in Dyersburg, Tennessee.

Born Wednesday, September 21, 1955 in Metropolis, Illinois, she was the daughter of the late Loren Doc Elam and the late Edna May Emery Elam. Mrs. Kennedy was a home-maker.

Cremation services for Mrs. Kennedy are under the direction of Johnson-Williams Funeral Home. A private, family memorial service will be held at a later date.

She leaves to cherish her memory, her husband of forty-eight years, James Kennedy of Dyersburg, Tennessee; two sons, Jimmy Dale Hall (Kara) of Houston, Texas and Michael E. Lewis (Regina Ann) of Newbern, Tennessee; one daughter, Rachelle Lynn Weaver (Chris) of Newbern, Tennessee; one brother, Dale Elam of Metropolis, Illinois; two sisters, Rhonda Elam of Metropolis, Illinois and Sandy Elam of Metropolis, Illinois; eight grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by one sister, Donna May Elam.

The family ask that any memorial contributions be directed to the Dyer County Community Cancer Fund, P. O. Box # 1055, Dyersburg, Tennessee 38024.
