Steven Warren Agee, Sr.

Steven Warren Agee, Sr., 68, of Newbern, Tennessee died on Saturday, July 25, 2020, at his residence in Newbern, Tennessee.

Born Saturday, March 29, 1952 in Obion County,Tennessee, he was the son of the late Ted Bruce Agee and the late Betty Joy McDonald Agee. Mr. Agee was a retired employee of PolyOne, where he worked for forty-six years, and he was a devoted member of Rehoboth United Methodist Church.

Graveside services for Mr. Agee will be held at 4:00 PM on Monday, July 27, 2020 at Rehoboth Cemetery near Newbern, Tennessee. Officiating this service will be Rev. Dan Tilly. Visitation for Mr. Agee will be held Monday, July 27, 2020 from 2:00 PM until 3:30 PM at Rehoboth United Methodist Church.

He leaves to cherish his memory, his wife of forty-eight years, Sherry Bevis Agee of Newbern, Tennessee; one son, Steven Agee, Jr. (Andrea) of Yorkville, Tennessee; one daughter, Elizabeth Thaxton (Clayton) of Carlisle, Arkansas and he was "Granddaddy" to Lydia Agee, Jonah Agee, Eli Agee, Jude Agee, Collin Thaxton and Bentley Thaxton.

Honoring Mr. Agee as pallbearers will be Jacob Burr, Stephen Craig, Bengi Isbell, Timm Johnson, Mike Ladd and Phillip Ray .Honorary pallbearers will be Jimmy Lanier, Billy Binkley, Montie Rogers, Terry Taylor and Joe Gibson.

The family asks that memorial contributions be directed to Rehoboth United Methodist Church, 225 Rehoboth Church Road, Newbern, Tennessee 38059 for St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, P.O. Box # 1000-department 142, Memphis, Tennessee 38101-9908.
