Steven Marshall Coker Obituary

Steven Marshall Coker, 60, of Dyersburg, Tennessee, died on Wednesday, May 21, 2025, at Okeena Health and Rehabilitation of Dyersburg in Dyersburg, Tennessee.

Born Tuesday, November 3, 1964, in Dyersburg, Tennessee, he was the son of the late Lawrence Alvin "Larry" Coker and Martha Jane Curtis Coker.

Steven was a dedicated former maintenance employee for the Newbern Housing Authority, where he was known for his strong work ethic and commitment.

He was a proud member of the United Brotherhood of Carpenters and Joiners of America. He was a man who valued honest work, simple pleasures, and the bonds of family.

Steven had a deep love for the outdoors and cherished the times he spent hunting deer and ducks. These moments brought him peace and joy, and many fond memories were made in the stillness of the woods and wetlands.

Above all, Steven loved his family and held close the memories they shared together. His legacy is one of love, strength, and faith. He confirmed Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior and was Baptist by faith, finding comfort and guidance in his belief.

Steven will be remembered as a hard-working, kind-hearted man who valued the simple and meaningful things in life.
