Steve Shannon

Steve Shannon, 71, of Dyersburg, Tennessee died on Wednesday, February 24, 2021, at West Tennessee Healthcare-Dyersburg Hospital in Dyersburg, Tennessee.

Born Monday, March 28, 1949 in Dyersburg, Tennessee, he was the son of the late Henry Brownlee Shannon and the late Mavis Arnold  Shannon.  Mr. Shannon was the founder of Dialalarm and later owned Shannon Security, Page-A-Matic and the Bronze Beach. He was a former pilot , member of the State of Tennessee Board of Alarms and Contractors and served on the State of Tennessee 911 Board.

Visitation for Mr. Shannon will be held from 4:00 PM until 6:00 PM on Friday, February 26, 2021 at Johnson-Williams Funeral Home.

He leaves to cherish his memory, three daughters, Stephene Forsythe (Larry) of  Finley, Tennessee, Tammy Stover (Adam) of Dyersburg, Tennessee and Kerri Jefferies (Corey) of Newbern, Tennessee; one sister, Amy Kemp Jones of Dyersburg, Tennessee; ten grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

The family asks that memorial contributions be directed to the American Heart Association, 7272 Greenville Avenue, Dallas, Texas  75231.
