Stephen Hugh Fox, 73, of Dyersburg, Tennessee, died on Thursday, August 24, 2023, at his residence in Dyersburg, Tennessee.
Born, Thursday, February 9, 1950, he was the son of the late Eli Hugh Fox and the late Jeanette Delores Miller Fox. He retired from the Iberville Parish Water Works, where he was plant manager and a board member. For over twenty years, Mr. Fox worked at the Hansen's Disease Center in Baton Rouge, Louisiana in the engineering department. He held multiple certificates in biological water and wastewater treatment.
Cremation services for Mr. Fox are under the direction of Johnson-Williams Funeral Home.
He leaves to cherish his memory, his wife Francis Fox of Saint Amant, Louisiana; three sons, Ryan Fox (Kyna) of Dyersburg, Tennessee, Adam Fox of Saint Amant, Louisiana, and Samuel Fox (Kinsley) of Saint Amant, Louisiana; one daughter, Holly Fox of Portland, Oregon: one sister, Barbara Thompson (Robert) of Orlando, Florida and he was "Poppy" to his eight grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one son, Tyler Fox.
