Shirley Moore Roser, 89, of Newbern, Tennessee, died Sunday, December 8, 2024, at The Bay in Dyersburg, Tennessee.
Born on Thursday, October 17, 1935, in Selmer, Tennessee, she was the daughter of the late Buford Moore and the late Beatrice Moore. Ms. Roser was a retired loan specialist with United States Department Agriculture and a member of Church Grove Baptist Church in Newbern, Tennessee.
Funeral services will be held at 12:00 PM on Thursday, December 12, 2024, in the Chapel of Johnson-Williams Funeral Home. Officiating this service will be Bro. David Powell. Interment will follow in Fairview Cemetery in Newbern, Tennessee. Visitation will be from 10:00AM until 12:00PM on Thursday, December 12, 2024, at Johnson-Williams Funeral Home.
Ms. Roser leaves behind to cherish her memory, two sons; Robert Phillip Roser (Sheila) of RoEllen, Tennessee and Timothy Lee Roser of Newbern, Tennessee; three grandchildren, Brandon Roser (Brianna), Krista Roser and Andrew Roser and three great-grandchildren, Cooper Roser, Eli Roser, and Cooper Atkins; one sister-in-law Carol Colbert.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of sixty-five years, George Robert Roser and one brother Olen Moore: one sister-in-law Marie Lane.
