Shirley Ann Fite

Shirley Ann Fite, 80, of Obion, Tennessee,, died on Sunday, January 3, 2021, at West Tennessee Healthcare-Dyersburg Hospital in Dyersburg, Tennessee.

Born Friday, October 18, 1940 in Hazen, North Dakota, she was the eighth of twelve children born to the late Art and Rosalie Birkholz. Mrs. Fite retired from McKesson Drug Company in Memphis, Tennessee in 2006. After her retirement her family moved to Obion, Tennessee. While in Munford, Mrs. Fite was a member of the Munford Church of Christ and after moving to Obion she became a member of the Glendale Church of Christ. She loved tending to her flower gardens and cooking her family their favorite German dishes.

Due to the current pandemic conditions and the family's concern for the health and welfare of others, a private graveside service for Mrs. Fite will be held at 2:00 PM on Tuesday, January 5, 2020 at Zion Cemetery in Elbridge, Tennessee. Officiating this service will be Bro. Josh Romo.

She leaves to cherish her memory; one daughter, Vicki Mayse (David) of Obion, Tennessee; one son, John Fite, Jr. of Obion, Tennessee; two sisters, Florence Bullinger and Elda Bigelow; four sister-in-laws, Kathy Birkholz, Diane Birkholz, Marilynn Birkholz and Juanita Fite;  she was "NeeNaw" to her three grandchildren, Ashley Romo (Josh), Kaylin Greganti (Chris) and Nathan Mayse (Kiernan) and four great-grandchildren, Jensen Romo, Uriah Romo, Avery Greganti and Addison Greganti.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, of sixty years, John Fite, Sr on September 26, 2020 and five brothers and one sister.
