Sherry Lynn Bailey Jones

Sherry Lynn Bailey Jones, 58, of Dyersburg, Tennessee died on Saturday, June 26, 2021, at Jackson-Madison County General Hospital in Jackson, Tennessee.

Born Saturday, July 21, 1962 in Lamont, Illinois, she was the daughter of the late Thomas Henry Roberson and Frances Louise Gregson  Roberson Rogers. She was a former beautician and home-maker.

Graveside services for Mrs. Jones will be 3:00 PM on Thursday, July 1, 2021 at Dyer County Memorial Gardens. Officiating this service will be Rev. Travis Davison. Visitation for Mrs. Jones will be held from 1:00 PM until 2:30 PM on Thursday, July 1, 2021 at Johnson-Williams Funeral Home.

She leaves to cherish her memory, her husband, Ricky Jones of Dyersburg, Tennessee; one son, Dustin Bailey (Shelby) of Knoxville, Tennessee; one daughter, Kelly Bailey of Newbern, Tennessee; her mother,  Frances Louise Gregson Roberson Rogers (Tom)  of Dyersburg, Tennessee; one sister, Sheila Maddox (Danny) of Tiptonville, Tennessee; two step-sons, Bret Jones and Dakota Jones both of Mobile, Alabama and one grandson, Chase Bailey and soon to join the family in December, Aubrey Bailey.

In additon to her father, she was preceded in death by her first husband, who was the father of her children, William Steve Bailey.

Honoring Mrs. Jones as pallbearers will be Bobby Ellis, Taylor Erwin, Chris Hamlin, Chase Bailey, Bret Jones, Greg Westmoreland and Jimmy Bailey.
