Scotty Forsythe, 64 of Newbern, Tennessee, died on Friday, September 15, 2023, at his residence in Newbern, Tennessee.
Born Wednesday, April 8, 1959, in Dyersburg, Tennessee, he was the son of the late Bivian Forsythe and the late Virginia Roby Forsythe. Mr. Forsythe was a former construction employee.
Graveside services for Mr. Forsythe will be held at 2:00 PM on Sunday, September 17, 2023, at Fairview Cemetery in Dyersburg, Tennessee. Officiating this service will be Mr. Kent Forsythe. Family and friends are asked to gather at the cemetery.
He leaves to cherish his memory, sister-in-law, Doris Forsythe of Finley, Tennessee; two half-sisters, Vivian Archie of Florida and Donna McDivitt of Florida, one half-brother, Brad Forsythe of Florida; one nephew, Keith Forsythe (Angie) of Finley, Tennessee; one great-nephew, Kent Forsythe (Whitney) of Finley, Tennessee and three great-great nephews, Jackson, Grady, and Walker.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Stan Forsythe and half-brother, Adair Forsythe.
