Sammy Lynn White, 65, of Tiptonville, Tennessee died on Sunday, July 13, 2025, at his residence in Tiptonville, Tennessee
Born Tuesday, August 4, 1959, in Dyersburg, Tennessee, he was the son of the late Sammy Gene White and the late Ruth Hart Anderson. Mr. White was a retired employee of Brasfield's Body Shop.
Sammy was known for his easygoing nature and kind heart. He found joy in life’s simple pleasures and had a gentle spirit that drew others to him. Sammy especially enjoyed riding through the countryside, soaking in the peaceful beauty of nature. He loved visiting yard sales, where he had a talent for spotting hidden treasures and never met a stranger — always ready to share a warm smile and a friendly conversation.
Music was a constant in his life, and while he appreciated many genres, country music held a special place in his heart. Sammy also loved the outdoors — he enjoyed fishing, hunting, gardening , cooking and he especially cherished the times spent cooking and camping with his family. Those moments were some of his favorites.
