Ronald K. Davis, 83, of Springville, Tennessee died on Friday, June 3, 2022, at his residence in Springville, Tennessee.
Born Tuesday, January 31, 1939, in San Antonio, Texas, he was the son of the late Robert and Opal Davis. He worked at National Can Corporation in Clearing, Illinois, as a can line mechanic for over thirty years. In retirement, he enjoyed being an Amateur Ham Radio Operator and Instructor, call #K9AN. He also belonged to the Moose Lodge.
Graveside services for Mr. Davis will be held at 1:00 PM on Tuesday, June 7, 2022, at Fairview Cemetery in Newbern, Tennessee. Friends are asked to gather at the cemetery.
He leaves to cherish his memory three stepdaughters, Delilah Gurien Smith of Troy, Tennessee, Debbie Rowland of Paris, Tennessee and Teresa Adcock of Wright City, Missouri; one stepson, Jamie Reed of Marseilles, Illinois, and he was "Grandpa" to his twelve grandchildren, twenty great-grandchildren and eleven great-great-grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his beloved wife of forty-five years, Dortha Faye and one sister, Roberta Ruth Davis.
Honoring Mr. Davis as pallbearers will be Jamie Reed, Jim Gurien, Kenny Gurien, Carl Adcock, Will Adcock and Wayne Smith. Honorary pallbearer will be Gerald Curtis.
