Obituary

Roger Glenn Roberts, 72, of Obion, Tennessee died on Friday, February 19, 2021, at his residence in Obion, Tennessee.

Born Friday, June 4, 1948, he was the son of the late Rommie Roberts, Sr. and the late Lena Canada Roberts. He was a retired employee of the Industrial Maintenance Department of WisPak. Mr. Roberts was a Deacon and member of Christ Church Baptist Fellowship.

Funeral services for Mr. Roberts will be held at 2:00 PM on Sunday, February 21, 2021 in the Chapel of Johnson-Williams Funeral Home. Officiating this service will be Rev. Jeremy Ballinger. Interment will follow in Zion Cemetery. Visitation will be held Sunday from 12:00 PM until 2:00 PM at Johnson-Williams Funeral Home.

He is survived by his wife, of fifty years, Debbie Jones Roberts of Obion, Tennessee; one son, Jason Roberts of Dyersburg, Tennessee; three sisters, Carolyn Vaughn (Bobby) of Gates, Tennessee, Ellen Griggs (Darrell) of Munford, Tennessee and Joyce Weaver of  Dyersburg, Tennessee and he was "Grand-Daddy" to his grand-daughter, Molly Claire Roberts.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother, Rommie Roberts, Jr. and one sister, Shirley Roberts.

Honoring Mr. Roberts as pallbearers will be Hoyt Newsom, Clark Newsom, Chad Richards, Brian Vaughn, Scott Roberts and Jerry Tolbert.
