Roberta Gooch Kelley, 68, of Tiptonville, Tennessee died on Sunday, June 15, 2025, in Tiptonville, Tennessee.

Born on July 20, 1956, in Tiptonville, Tennessee, she was the daughter of the late J. D. Gooch and the late Bernice Davis Gooch.

Roberta was a woman whose heart was always open to others—someone who never hesitated to lend a hand, offer a kind word, or be there in a time of need. She was known for her caring spirit and genuine desire to help anyone, whether family, friend, or stranger. Her life was a testament to the power of selflessness, and she touched the lives of many simply by being who she was.

One of her greatest joys was spending time outdoors, fishing. She found peace and happiness in nature. 

Graveside services for Mrs. Kelley will be held at Haynes Memorial Gardens in Tiptonville, Tennessee on Monday, June 23, 2025, at 11:00 AM. Officiating this service will be Bro. J. T. Troutman. Family and friends are asked to gather at the cemetery.

She is survived by her brother, David Gooch (Rita) of Tiptonville, Tennessee; one sister, Bernice Gooch Sneed of Tiptonville, Tennessee and one grandson, Logan Gooch of Memphis, Tennessee.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Larry Kelley, son, Jeremey Gooch and her companion, Robert Woods.
