Robert Lee Ables

Robert Lee Ables, 48, of Dyersburg, Tennessee, died on Mondy, October 20, 2025, at West Tennessee Healthcare-Dyersburg Hospital in Dyersburg, Tennessee.

Born on January 5, 1977, he was the son of the late Herbert Lynn Ables and the late Shirley Doris Burns Ables.

He will be remembered for his kind heart, gentle spirit, and the joy he brought to those around him. Robert had a deep love for music of all kinds. Whether it was country or rock and roll, he found comfort and happiness in every song. He also enjoyed playing the guitar, often filling the room with music that reflected his easygoing nature and love of life. In his spare time, he liked to play cards and share laughter and stories with friends and family. Above all, Robert cherished his family. He treasured the times they shared together and the memories they made. 

Cremation services for Mr. Ables are under the direction of Johnson-Williams Funeral Home.

Mr. Ables leaves to cherish his memory, one sister, Polly Ann Chamberlain of Dyersburg, Tennessee and a host of nieces and nephews and great nieces and great nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three brothers, Timothy G. Burns, Larry Lynn Ables and Thomas Edward Ables.
