Robert Anderson, age 59, of Dyersburg, Tennessee, passed away at his residence on Monday, October 6, 2025. Born on June 14, 1966, he was the son of the late Troy Richard Anderson and the late Marilyn Worley Anderson.
A self-employed man with a love for life’s simple joys, Robert was known for his passion for playing cards and delighting others with his card tricks. His warm personality and sense of humor made him a cherished presence in the lives of those around him.
Robert was a member of Our Little Country Church in Dyersburg. He was a family man—deeply connected to his siblings, daughter, grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. His love for them was evident in every moment shared. Robert’s legacy of love, laughter, and kindness will live on in the hearts of all who knew him.
He is survived by his daughter, April Shaye Anderson of Dyersburg; his brother, Troy Richard Anderson, Jr.; and his sisters, Kimberly Walton, Kelly Anderson, and Lisa Jones (Johnny), all of Dyersburg. Robert also leaves behind two adored grandchildren, Mae-Lynn McCrary and Wyatt Taylor Hanks, and a host of nieces and nephews: Holly Robertson, Ashley Scott, Michael Sipes, Cullen Jones, Christopher Walton, Chance Hallum, and Seth Alexander.
In addition to his parents, Robert was preceded in death by his grandmother, Ina Mae Hudson, whose memory he held dear.
Visitation for Mr. Anderson will be held on Thursday, October 9, 2025, from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Johnson-Williams Funeral Home. Friends and family are invited to gather in remembrance and celebration of a life well lived.
