Ricky Everett Sollis

Ricky Everett Sollis, 68, of Dyersburg, Tennessee, died on Thursday, March 14, 2024, at West Tennessee Healthcare-Dyersburg Hospital in Dyersburg, Tennessee.

Born Friday, March 2, 1956, in Dyersburg, Tennessee, he was the son of the late Everett Sollis and the late Frances Lucille Pannell Sollis. Mr. Sollis was a former employee of the City Of Dyersburg Sanitation Department.
 

Funeral services for Mr. Sollis will be held at 2:00 PM on Sunday, March 17, 2024, in the Chapel of Johnson-Williams Funeral Home.  Officiating the service will be Bro. Mike Waters. Interment will follow at Church Grove cemetery in Newbern, Tennessee. Visitation for Mr. Sollis will be held from 12:00 PM until 2:00 PM on Sunday, March 17, 2024, at Johnson-Williams Funeral Home.

He leaves to cherish his memory, three sons, Terry Sollis of Dyersburg, Tennessee, Jason Sollis (Angela) of Dyersburg, Tennessee and Justin Sollis of Trenton, Tennessee; step-son, Anthony Reeves (Hollie) of RoEllen, Tennessee; one daughter, Tina Marie Sollis-Rice of Dyersburg, Tennessee, three brothers, Eddie Sollis of Dyersburg, Tennessee, Kenneth Sollis (JoAnn) of Dyersburg, Tennessee and Jimmy Wayne Sollis (Edna) of Alamo, Tennessee,; two sisters, Tommie Bright of Moses Lake, Washington and Betty Drugas (Patrick) of Finley, Tennessee; ten grandchildren; five great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews and extended family that loved him dearly.  

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one son, James Lynn Sollis, former wife, Shirley Freeman Reeves Sollis and three sisters, Laqetta Ables, Winnie Faye Sollis and Cheryl Lynn Sollis.

Honoring Mr. Sollis as pallbearers will be Jason Sollis, Anthony Reeves, Justin Sollis, Patrick Drugas, Shane Sollis, and Malakai Jones.
