Richard Michael Fowlkes, 71, of Springville, Tennessee, died on Saturday, December 14, 2024, at Tri-Star Skyline Medical Center in Nashville, Tennessee.
Born Saturday, January 17, 1953, in Dyer County, Tennessee, he was the son of the late Pierce Fowlkes and the late Elizabeth Holden Fowlkes. Mr. Fowlkes was a retired employee of Ermco. He attended Friendship Baptist Church in Buchanan, Tennessee. Richard was a loving husband, father and "Big Daddy." His proudest accomplishment was, without a doubt, the family he nurtured with unwavering love. The times he cherished the most were those spent with his family, fishing, hunting or just being together doing nothing special. He had a love for music, especially those songs from the 1960's and 1970's and was an avid fan of the Tennessee Vols.
