Randy Joe Gant Obituary

Randy Gant, 60, of Newbern, Tennessee, died on Friday, May 26, 2023, at The Bay in Dyersburg, Tennessee.

Born Saturday, August 11, 1962, in Obion County, Tennessee, he was the son of the late Joe Henry Gant and Madie Hudson Gant. Mr. Gant was a retired truck driver.

Cremation services for Mr. Gant are under the direction of Johnson-Williams Funeral Home.

He leaves to cherish his memory, his mother, Madie Hudson Gant of Marshall, Texas, one sister, Darlene Moore of Newbern, Tennessee; four brothers, Phillip Gant of Longview, Texas, Timothy "Smitty" Smith of South Fulton, Tennessee, Gary Gant of Hornby, Tennessee, and Henry Joe Gant and one stepbrother, Steve Hill of Arkansas.

In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his wife, Valarie Gant; one sister, Peggy Barker, and two stepbrothers, Billy Joe Hill, and Jimmy "Dinky" Hill.
