Peggy Maxwell

Peggy Maxwell, 74, of Murray, Kentucky died on Tuesday, January 28, 2020, at her residence in Murray, Kentucky.

Born Tuesday, January 1, 1946 in Blytheville, Arkansas, she was the daughter of the late Lewis Albert Hardin and the late Lola Mae Owens Hardin. Mrs. Maxwell was a retired home medical transcriptionist. Her greatest joy was the time that she spent with her two grandchildren, Peyton and Preston.

Funeral services for Mrs.. Maxwell will be Saturday, February 1, 2020 at 12:30 PM in the Chapel of Johnson-Williams Funeral Home. Officiating this service will be Bro. Rick Brothers. Interment will follow in Fairview Cemetery in Newbern, Tennessee. Visitation will be from 11:00 AM to 12:30 PM on Saturday, February 1, 2020, at Johnson-Williams Funeral Home.

She leaves to cherish her memory, one son, Michael Lynn Maxwell of Murray, Kentucky; one daughter, Tonya Danette Maxwell of Murray, Kentucky; one sister, Patsy Gail Myers of Bethalto, Illinois; one grand daughter, Peyton Rose Maxwell; one grandson, Preston Ross Maxwell; nieces and nephews; Beverly Greer (Jerry and boys), Darryl (Kathe and son Adaam Agney), Richard Hardin, Jr.; deceased Molly Jones (kids) Dalondra Miles (loving family), Kenneth Maxwell (Terrie and kids), James Maxwell, Todd Maxwell (Jill and kids), Danny Maxwell, Kellum Maxwell (loving family) and Amy Maxwell (loving family).

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, William Glenn Maxwell and one brother, Richard Hardin.

Honoring Mrs. Maxwell as pallbearers will be family and friends.
