Paul William "Beaver" Purvis

Paul William "Beaver" Purvis, 62, of Troy, Tennessee died on Wednesday, September 29, 2021, at Baptist Hospital in Union City, Tennessee.

Born Monday, March 30, 1959 in Chicago, Illinois, he was the son of the late Paul Buford Purvis and the late Maggie Marie Sweat  Purvis. Mr. Purvis was a retired contractor.

Graveside services for Mr. Purvis will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, October 2, 2021 at Fairview Cemetery in Newbern, Tennessee. Officiating this service will be Bro. Perry Grills. Friends are asked to gather at the cemetery.

He is survived by two sons, Bradley Thomas Purvis of Dyersburg, Tennessee and Tyler Paul Purvis of Dyersburg, Tennessee; two brothers, Gary Lynn Purvis (Sondra) of Paris, Tennessee and Randy Joe Purvis (Stacie) of Dyersburg, Tennessee; one sister, Vickie M. Robinson (Ronnie) of Troy, Tennessee and three grandchildren, J. T. Watford, Austin Watford and Everly Purvis.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by one daughter, Stacy Lynn Watford and one son-in-law, Jonathan Watford.

Honoring Mr. Purvis as pallbearers will be Josh Robinson, Garrett Purvis, Gary Purvis, Grant Purvis, Scott Page and Zach Reed.
