Patsy Lynn Wade Forrest, born April 12, 1956, in Camden, Tennessee, was the beloved daughter of Floyd Wade and Ina Lovell Wade.
Patsy had a heart for people and found joy in serving others. She worked for TG Holding, where she loved cooking and cherished the relationships she built with her customers, who quickly became like family to her. Over the last two years, Patsy found a new and meaningful chapter in her life—she gave her heart to the Lord and truly enjoyed attending church and growing in her faith.
She was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. Patsy is survived by her three children: Amanda Brubaker and husband Rick, Jimmy Wilson, and Jessica Garrigus and husband Bobby. She was a proud grandmother to five grandchildren: Alexis Reaves and husband Stephen, Tyler Smith, Zander Gates, Zoey Gates, and Zayde Forrest.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Floyd Wade and Ina Lovell Wade, as well as nine of her siblings.
Patsy will be remembered for her strong spirit, her love for her family, her warm heart, and her unmistakable personality that left a lasting impression on everyone who knew her.
A celebration of life will be held Thursday, April 30 at 6:00 PM at Lighthouse First Assembly, 900 Williams Street, Newbern, for the many friends and family she made over the past 16 years since moving to Dyersburg.
A second service will be held Saturday, May 2 at 2:00 PM at Stockdale-Malin Funeral Home, 13625 TN-69A, Big Sandy, Tennessee, for family and friends in the Paris area.
The family welcomes all who knew and loved Patsy to come celebrate her life, share memories, and honor the legacy she leaves behind.
