Patsy Jane Tidwell

Patsy Jane Flack Tidwell, 86, of Newbern, Tennessee died on Monday, May 16, 2022 at her residence in Newbern, Tennessee.

Born, March 6, 1936, in Newbern, Tennessee, she was the daughter of the late Finis Flack and the late Irene Elizabeth Caldwell Flack.  Mrs. Tidwell was a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She was an active member Newbern First United Methodist Church.

Please join the family for a celebration of life service to be held at 11:00 AM on Thursday May 19, 2022, at Newbern First Methodist Church in Newbern, Tennessee 38059. Officiating this service is Rev. Tommy Jowers and Rev. Tyler Neeley. Visitation will be held at the Newbern First Methodist Church on Wednesday, May 18, 2022, from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM and on Thursday from 10:00 AM until 11:00 AM.

She leaves to cherish her memory, her husband, Gerald Tidwell of Newbern, Tennessee;  three daughters, Patti Lynn Williams Matson (Nick) of Huntsville, Texas, Elizabeth Tidwell Cathey (deceased Eddie) of Collierville, Tennessee and Ginger Tidwell Jaggers Emerson (Jody) of Bells, Tennessee; one sister, Jo Flack of Newbern, Tennessee ; eight grandchildren, Nicholas Matson (Elizabeth), Lauren Matson Davis(Jacob), Callie Jaggers, Claire Jaggers, JD Jaggers, Peyton Cathey, Parker Cathey and Pierce Cathey. Mrs. Tidwell also leaves five great grandchildren, Morgan Matson, Lydia Matson, Savannah Matson, Theo Davis and Lena Davis.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister Debbie Flack and brother Finis Lynn Flack.
