Patricia "Pat" Ables

Patricia "Pat" Ables, 62, of Dyersburg, Tennessee, died on Saturday, June 28, 2025, at Methodist Hospital-Germantown in Germantown, Tennessee.

Born Sunday, December 9, 1962, in Dyersburg, Tennessee, she was the daughter of the late Charles Colon Peery, Sr. and the late Henrietta Webber Peery.
She was employed by a retired employee of Southern Point.

Pat had a special fondness for Easter lilies, and over the years, she received many peace lilies—each one named and cared for in memory of someone dear to her heart.

Family meant everything to Pat. She treasured the time spent together, especially the Memorial Day weekends spent camping and floating down the Spring River—a tradition full of laughter, togetherness, and love.

A devoted animal lover, Pat had a deep bond with her beloved dogs, Smoke, Shy, and Sassy, who brought her immense joy. She also raised chickens and delighted in gathering eggs to share with her loved ones, always finding joy in the simple pleasures of life and the opportunity to give to others

Funeral services for Mrs. Ables will be at 5:00 PM on Wednesday, July 2, 2025, in the Chapel of Johnson-Williams Funeral Home. Officiating this service will be Bro. Mac Daniels.

Interment will follow in Fairview Cemetery in Dyersburg, Tennessee. Visitation will be held on Wednesday from 2:00 PM until 5:00 PM at Johnson-Williams Funeral Home.

She leaves to cherish her memory, one daughter, Jessica Ramirez (Aurelio) of Dyersburg, Tennessee; one son, Donnie Jones of Dyersburg, Tennessee; one brother, Charles Colon Peery, Jr. of Dyersburg, Tennessee and she was "Granny" to her four grandchildren, Aurelia Ramirez, Auden Ramirez, Patrick Ramirez, and Perri Ella Ramirez and one great-grandchild to join the family soon.

Honoring Ms. Ables as pallbearers will be Stoy Anderson, Justin Bishop, Brent "Bubbie" McNeeley, Jeffery Ty Hicks, Robert Griffin and Derick Hanks. Honorary pallbearers will be Chris Criswell, Tracy Strawn and Chad Millner.
