Pat Joy

Pat Joy, 79, of Dyersburg, Tennessee died on Sunday, October 3, 2021at her residence in Dyersburg, Tennessee.

Born Friday, February 20, 1942, she was the daughter of the late Emmitt Clifton Lewis and the late Mary Elizabeth Mancell Lewis. She was a homemaker and member of Parr Avenue Church of Christ.

Graveside services for Mrs. Joy will be held at 1:00 P. M. on Wednesday, October 6, 2021 at Fairview Cemetery in Dyersburg, Tennessee. Officiating this service will be Mr. Scott Owen. Visitation will be held on Wednesday from 11:00 A.M. until 12:30 P.M. at Johnson-Williams Funeral Home.

She leaves to cherish her memory, her husband, Desmond Joy of Dyersburg, Tennessee; three sons, Timothy James Jackson of Dyersburg, Tennessee, Anthony Wayde Jackson (Gina) of Dyersburg, Tennessee and Curtis Russell Jackson (Litsa) of Dyersburg, Tennessee; two daughters, Tina Wiley of Newbern, Tennessee and Marcia Joy of Sweetwater, Tennessee; nine grandchildren; fifteen great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by two brothers, Tom Clifton Lewis and James D. Lewis.

Honoring Mrs. Joy as pallbearers will be Roger Cravens, Jonathan Muncrief, Hunter Jackson, Dalton Muncrief, Josh Dallas and Jaxon Palmer.
