Norman Byrl "Tooter" Jackson Obituary

Norman Byrl "Tooter" Jackson, 72, of Kenton, Tennessee died on Friday, February 19, 2021, at his residence in Kenton, Tennessee.

Born Friday, April 23, 1948 in Mertzon, Texas, he was the son of the late Robert Lee Jackson and the late Gladys Irene Butler  Jackson. Mr. Jackson was a retired factory employee and "Jack Of All Trades."  He was a member of the Kenton Church of God in Kenton, Tennessee.

Funeral services for Mr. Jackson will be held at 1:00 PM on Monday, February 22, 2021 at the Kenton Church of God. Officiating this service will be Pastor Dennis Cleek. Interment will follow in Fairview Cemetery in Newbern, Tennessee. Visitation will be held on Monday, February 22, 2021 from 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM at the Kenton Church of God.

He leaves to cherish his memory, his wife, Dolores "Dodie" Scobey Jackson of Kenton Tennessee; one son, Norman Lee Jackson (Shayna) of Kenton, Tennessee; two daughters, Deena Young of Dyer, Tennessee and Tammy Jones of Kenton, Tennessee; one brother, Jimmy Jackson (Nadine) of Kenton, Tennessee and he was "PA Tooter" to his three grandchildren, Adam Jones (Mikalee), Kadie Jackson and Ashley Young and two great-grandchildren, Adlee Jones and Wyatt Jones.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by one grandson, Austin Little; one brother, Tony Ray Jackson and one sister, Neda Jo Campbell.

Honoring Mr. Jackson as pallbearers will be Brandon Dunn, Jonathon Hudgins, Chad Jackson, Scott Jewell, Jackie McQuiston and Adam Jones. Honorary pallbearer will be Jason Williams.
