Norma Jean Jones Stark

Norma Jean Jones Stark, 79, of Munford, Tennessee, passed away on Friday, October 20, 2023, at Methodist Hospital-North in Memphis, Tennessee.

Born Friday, September 1, 1944, in Obion, Tennessee, she was the daughter of the late William Henry Jones and the late Marie Dobson Jones. Mrs. Stark was a retired Real Estate Specialist.  She was a devoted Christian and member of the Millington Church of Christ. Mrs. Stark was a giving person and always thought of others before herself and she had a love for all animals. The times she cherished the most were those spent with her family.

Funeral services for Mrs. Stark will be held at 2:00 PM on Monday, October 23, 2023, in the Chapel of Johnson-Williams Funeral Home. Officiating this service will be Bro. Joe McDaniel. Interment will follow in Fairview Cemetery in Dyersburg, Tennessee. Visitation will be held on Monday from 12:00 PM until 2:00 PM at Johnson-Williams Funeral Home.

She leaves to cherish her memory, her husband of thirty-six years, Ron Stark of Munford, Tennessee; her daughter and best friend, Carolyn Abreu (Jed) of Atoka, Tennessee; three sisters, Sue Teague of Dyersburg, Tennessee, Dorothy Burns (Nathan) of Dyersburg, Tennessee and Nita Twilla (Phillip) of Dyersburg, Tennessee; she was "Nana" to her beloved, grand-daughter, Rylee Abreu of Atoka, Tennessee and her fur-baby, Princess.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Michael David Patterson and one brother, Wayne Jones.

Honoring Mrs. Stark as pallbearers will be Rodney Jones, Austin Jones, Greg Twilla, Gary Twilla, David King and Mark Teague. Honorary pallbearers will be Nathan Burns and Phillip Twilla.

In lieu of flowers, the family ask that memorial contributions be directed to the American Cancer Society, P. O. Box 6704, Hagerstown, Maryland 21741 or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, Tennessee 38101.
