Norma Jean Decker, 84, of Knoxville, Tennessee (formerly of Tiptonville, Tennessee) died on Friday, March 17, 2023, at Park West Medical Center in Knoxville, Tennessee.
Born Saturday, September 3, 1938, she was the daughter of the late Jack Bradshaw and the late Carrie Bradshaw. Mrs. Jean was a loving wife, mother, sister and friend. She spent her later years as a caregiver to many loved ones who passed before her. Prior to her retirement, Mrs. Jean and Mr. John owned and operated Decker Kwik Mart in Tiptonville, Tennessee.
Graveside services for Mrs. Decker will be held at 4:00 pm on Monday, March 20, 2023, at theTiptonville City Cemetery, located at 110 College Street in Tiptonville, Tennessee. Officiating this service will be her son, Paul Decker. Family and friends are invited to gather at the cemetery for the service and burial. Visitation for Mrs. Decker will be held on Sunday, March 19, 2023, from 4:00 PM until 6:00 PM at Johnson-Williams Funeral Home.
She leaves to cherish her memory, her daughter, Sarah June Eason (Steve) of Knoxville, Tennessee, her daughter-in-law, Darlene Decker (Jeff) of Woodland Mills, her son, Paul Jerome Decker (Kim) of Newbern, Tennessee, one brother, Charles Bradshaw of Forrest City, Arkansas and she was "Granny Jean" to her eight grandchildren; Ryan Decker, Eric Decker, Alex Decker, Shane Eason, Stacy Stephany (Matt), Winn Decker, Kali Decker and Ella Decker; four great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband, of forty-eight years, John R. Decker; her son,Jeffery Neal Decker, son-in-law, Steve Eason; sisters, Kathleen Walton and Sue Bradshaw and brothers, Bill Bradshaw, Carl Bradshaw and Don Bradshaw.
