Neda Fay Hamblin, 77, of Dyersburg, Tennessee, died on Saturday, November 15, 2025, at West Tennessee Healthcare-Dyersburg Hospital in Dyersburg, Tennessee.
Born Saturday, June 5, 1948, in Dyer County, Tennessee, she was the daughter of the late Jessie Branch and the late Maggie Glass Branch.
Neda dedicated her career to serving others as a CNA at Maple Ridge. Her gentle spirit, compassionate heart, and unwavering work ethic touched the lives of countless residents and their families throughout the years.
She was a faithful member of the Church of Jesus Christ. Her faith guided her life and was reflected in the kindness and love she shared with everyone she met.
Outside of her work, she found joy in the simple, meaningful moments of life. She loved to cook and was known for the warmth and comfort her meals brought to those she loved. She enjoyed fishing, especially the peacefulness of time spent by the water. Music was also a treasured part of her life—she loved gospel music and was gifted with the ability to play the guitar.
Funeral services for Mrs. Hamblin will be held at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, November 19, 2025, at the Church of Jesus Christ located at 120 Hamer Road, Dyersburg, Tennessee. Officiating this service will be Bro. Jerry Stafford. Interment will follow in Fairview Cemetery in Dyersburg, Tennessee. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 18, 2025, from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM at Johnson-Williams Funeral Home and on Wednesday from 10:00 AM until 11:00 AM at the Church of Jesus Christ.
She leaves to cherish her memory, her husband, James Hamblin of Dyersburg, Tennessee; two sons, Bobby Webber of Nashville, Tennessee and Thomas Ham of Pennsylvania; two daughters, Janice McCloud of Dyersburg, Tennessee and Jennifer Jones of Dyersburg, Tennessee; daughter by choice, Sarah Whiteleether of Pennsylvania; four grandchildren, Latisha Cruse, Latina Cruse, Lateia Cruse and Amber Webber and Eleven great-grandchildren, La'Kya, La'Nya, La'Nique, Heaven, Nevaeh, Emmie, Mathew, William, Ariel ,Amea and La'Riyah.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one son, Terry Ham, one daughter, Frances Cruse; two sisters, Frances Sikes and Jessie Mae Anderson and three brothers, Jessie Branch, Thomas Branch and Hubert Branch
Honoring Mrs. Hamblin as pallbearers will be James Hamblin, Bobby Webber, Lateia Cruse, Charles Harris, Dustin Bates, Jeremy Jones and Rick Anderson. Honorary pallbearers will be Billy Bates and Tim Brewer.
