Nancy Blevins

Nancy Blevins, 72, of Newbern, Tennessee died on Wednesday, May 26, 2021, at her residence in Newbern, Tennessee.

Born Wednesday, July 28, 1948 in Weakley County, Tennessee, she was the daughter of the late Stanley Maloy Damesworth and the late Bonnie Jane Jackson  Damesworth. Mrs. Blevins enjoyed gardening and cooking, but will always be remembered for the kindness that she showed to other.  Mrs. Blevins was a member of Northside Church of Jesus Christ.

Funeral services for Mrs. Blevins will be held at 11:00 AM on Thursday, May 27, 2021 at the Northside Church of Jesus Christ. Officiating this service will be Rev. Jeremy Damesworth and Rev. Ray Winstead. Interment will follow in McCorkle Cemetery in Newbern, Tennessee. Visitation for Mrs. Blevins will be held on Thursday from 9:00 AM until 11:00 AM at the Northside Church of Jesus Christ.

She leaves to cherish her memory, her husband of thirty-four years, Robert Blevins of Newbern, Tennessee; two step sons, Robert Gerald Blevins of Paducah, Kentucky and Johnny Dale Blevins of Dukedom, Tennessee; four brothers, Tony Maruice Damesworth (Beverly) of Gleason, Tennessee, Larry Dean Damesworth (Naomi) of Gleason, Tennessee, John Richard Damesworth (Kathy) of Gleason, Tennessee and Jimmy Maloy Damesworth of Lexington, Tennessee; four sisters, Edith Inez Newsome (Ray) of Paris, Tennessee,  Linda May Tabor (Bob) of Hayti, Missouri, Judy Janette Hammond (Scotty) of Newbern, Tennessee and Debra Evon Lock (Kelly) of Dyersburg, Tennessee and a host of extended family that loved her dearly.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by three brothers, Grady Maloy Damesworth, Phillip Eston Damesworth and Pettie Wilson Damesworth and one sister, Rebecca Janice Damesworth.

Honoring Mrs. Blevins as pallbearers will be Bubba Lock, Kerry Lock, Mark Rickman, Brandon Rickman, Mickey Damesworth and Alan Damesworth.
