Mildred W. Bradley Obituary

Mildred W. Bradley, 95, of Newbern, Tennessee died on Thursday, May 22, 2025, at Okeena Health and Rehabilitation of Dyersburg in Dyersburg, Tennessee.

Born October 9, 1929, in Dyer County, Tennessee, she was the daughter of the late Henry C. Wright and the late Trummie G. Story Wright. She was a devoted homemaker, talented seamstress.  Her  life was marked by faith, love, and a quiet strength that shaped her home and those around her.

Mildred was a former employee of All Wear Manufacturing, where she worked as a seamstress. Her skill with a needle was more than just a profession—it was an expression of care and creativity. Her daughter fondly remembers the beautiful dresses her mother lovingly made by hand, each one stitched with affection and pride.

Beyond her work, Mildred cherished her role as a homemaker. She found joy in gardening,  was an exceptional cook, known for her comforting meals and the love she poured into every dish.

Mildred was a woman of deep faith and a long-time member of Cornerstone Church of God, where she drew strength and comfort from her community and her beliefs. Her life was a testament to quiet devotion.

In 1947, Mildred married the love of her life, Robert M. "Bobby" Bradley. Together, they shared a lifetime of love, support, and partnership until his passing in 2006. Their marriage was a model of mutual respect and enduring affection. Their son shared his father's love of farming, continuing a legacy of hard work and appreciation for the land.

Mildred’s greatest joy was her family. She was a constant source of love, guidance, and support. Her memory will live on in the hearts of those who knew her, especially her children, who carry forward the values she instilled in them.
