Mildred L. Kilzer

Mildred L. Kilzer, 88, of Newbern, Tennessee died on Wednesday, November 16, 2022, at the home of her daughter in Newbern, Tennessee.

Born Thursday, March 15, 1934, in Gibson County, Tennessee, she was the daughter of the late Earl Morris and the late Madie Glidewell Morris. Mrs. Kilzer was a homemaker and retired employee of Kellwood, where she worked for twenty-seven years. She was a member of Mt. Tirzah Baptist Church.

Funeral services for Mrs. Kilzer will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, November 19, 2022, in the Chapel of Johnson-Williams Funeral Home. Officiating this service will be Bro. Aaron Evans. Interment will follow in Fairview Cemetery in Newbern, Tennessee. Visitation for Mrs. Kilzer will be held on Saturday from 10:00 AM until 11:00 AM at Johnson-Williams Funeral Home.

She leaves to cherish her memory, three daughters, Elisa Mathis of Newbern, Tennessee, Nan Singleton (Dennis) of Newbern, Tennessee, and Gail Lee (Kurt) of Newbern, Tennessee; she was "Memaw" to her eleven grandchildren, sixteen great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James B. Kilzer; four sons, Benny Kilzer, Jeff Kilzer, Cal Kilzer and Danny Kilzer; one brother, James Earl Morris; two sisters, Nannie Duncan, and Irene Sorrell and one grandson, Robert "Chris" Sanders.

Honoring Mrs. Kilzer as pallbearers will be Dustin Jenner, Aaron Jones, Alex Vestal, Blake Sanders, Amanda Kilzer and Jamie Singleton. Honorary pallbearer will be Eli Evans
