Mildred Ann French

Mildred Ann French, 80, of Dyersburg, Tennessee died on Saturday, October 30, 2021, at West Tennessee Healthcare-Dyersburg Hospital in Dyersburg, Tennessee.

Born Saturday, March 8, 1941 in Dyer County, Tennessee, she was the daughter of the late W. I. Sherbit and the late Eva Simpson Sherbit. Mrs. French was a retired employee of Sylvania and Thomas Industries.  She was a member of Finley Baptist Church.

Funeral services for Mrs. French will be held at 1:00 PM on Monday, November 1, 2021 at the Finley Baptist Church in Finley, Tennessee. Officiating this service will be Rev. Charles Halliburton and Rev. Trevor Sewell. Interment will follow in Fairview Cemetery in Dyersburg, Tennessee. Visitation will be held Monday from 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM at Finley Baptist Church.

She is survived by three sons, Scotty Hollis (Angie) of Dyersburg, Tennessee, Anthony Capps of Dyersburg, Tennessee and Timothy Capps of Dyersburg, Tennessee, one step-daughter, Audrey French of Dyersburg, Tennessee; one brother, Tommy Sherbit of Portage, Indiana; one sister, Linda Gauge of Dyersburg, Tennessee; ten grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.

Honoring Mrs. French as pallbearers will be Rickey Weeks, Rickey Hollis, Ryan Capps, Steve Cooper, Matt Jacobi and C. C. Tinkle.
