Milan "Mike" Mamula Obituary

Milan "Mike" Mamula, 62, of Dyersburg, Tennessee, died on Friday, December 19, 2025, at his residence.

Born Friday, April 19, 1963, in Hammond, Indiana, he was the son of the late Milan Mamula, Sr. and the late Mildred Trbovich Mamula.

Mike was a retired employee of Firestone, where he worked faithfully for twenty years.

He was a longtime fan of IndyCar and NASCAR racing, and some of his most cherished memories were made attending races with his son. Those shared experiences created a bond filled with excitement, laughter, and lasting memories.

Mike loved his coffee—strong, simple, and always appreciated. It was a small pleasure he enjoyed daily, often paired with conversation or quiet reflection.

Above all else, Mike’s greatest joy was his grandchildren. They were the light of his life, and he cherished every moment spent with them. He never missed an event, program, or activity they were involved in, always showing up with pride and unwavering support.

Those who knew Mike knew he could be a little stubborn at times, but that trait came from a strong will and a deep sense of loyalty to the people and things he cared about most

Private family internment will be held at Church Grove Cemetery in Newbern, Tennessee. A Celebration of Life Service Visitation for Mr. Mamula will be held on Friday, January 2, 2026, from 2:00 PM until 4:00 PM at Johnson-Williams Funeral Home.

He leaves to cherish his memory, one daughter, Emilee Cunningham (Josh) of Dyer, Tennessee; one son, Nick Mamula (Summer) of Dyersburg, Tennessee; the love of his life and his lifelong best friend and the mother of his children, Tabetha Mamula of Dyersburg, Tennessee; one brother, Lynn Mamula (Belinda) of Adamsville, Tennessee; he was "Papaw" to his five grandchildren, Weston Knox, Jagger Wayne, Maddox Milan, Kylan Bryce and Jocelynn Ryan and a host of extended family who loved him dearly.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by sister, Martha Menser and nephew, Donny Titus.
