Melvin "Wayne" Mansfield, 74 of Dyersburg, Tennessee died on Tuesday, November 5, 2024, at his residence in Dyersburg, Tennessee
Born Thursday, June 15, 1950, in Bogota, Tennessee, he was the son of the late Melvin Mansfield and the late Willie June Slaughter Jordan. Mr. Mansfield was a truck driver for thirty-six years.
Cremation services for Mr. Mansfield are under the direction of Johnson-Williams Funeral Home.
He is survived by his wife of forty-six years, Janie Lee Mansfield of Dyersburg, Tennessee; three sons, Kenny Lee (Linda) of Ringgold, Georgia, Danny Mansfield (Libby) of Dyersburg, Tennessee and David Mansfield (Tanya) of Cookeville, Tennessee; one brother, Lynn Williams (Susan) of Fowlkes, Tennessee; one sister, Chris Daniels (Terry) of RoEllen, Tennessee; and he was "Grand-Daddy" to his four grandchildren, Rob Miles (Stormie ), Colton Lee, Anna Mansfield, Ethan Mansfield (Talmikka) and his two great-grandchildren, Hunter Miles and Emma Miles
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one daughter, Dana Lynn Mansfield and one brother, Bobby Williams.
