Mary Sue Dunn

Mary Sue Dunn, 88, of Rutherford, Tennessee died on Wednesday, March 5, 2025, at Dyer Nursing Home in Dyer, Tennessee.

Born on August 19, 1936, in Tigrett, Tennessee, she was the daughter of the late Enoch Floyd and the late Mattie Brown Floyd.

Mrs. Dunn was a retired employee of Mar-Leek in Ridgely, Tennessee. She had a lifelong passion for sewing, turning fabrics into works of art, she took pride in every stitch.

Cremation services for Mrs. Dunn are under the care of Johnson-Williams Funeral Home.

She is survived by one daughter, Judy Milligan of Yorkville, Tennessee; one son, Richard Dunn (Melissa) of Dyersburg, Tennessee; one brother, Jimmy Floyd; one sister, Shirley Epperson and five grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Preston Dunn and one brother, Alton "Bub" Floyd.
