Marvin Elbert Booker Obituary

Marvin Elbert Booker, 73, of Gates, Tennessee, died on Friday, November 18, 2022, at West Tennessee Healthcare-Dyersburg Hospital in Dyersburg, Tennessee.

Born Saturday, June 4, 1949 in Lauderdale County, Tennessee, he was the son of the late Thomas Ivory Booker and the late Novella Pugh Tolbert. Mr. Booker was a retired employee of SRG In Ripley, Tennessee. He proudly served his country in the United States Army.

Cremation services for Mr. Booker are under the direction of Johnson-Williams Funeral Home.

He is survived by two sons, Steven Booker (Tammy) of Gates, Tennessee and Chris Booker (Sandra) of Dyersburg, Tennessee; one brother, Don Booker of Millington, Tennessee; one sister, Jeanette Grantland (Sammy) of Ripley, Tennessee; seven grand children and one great-grandchild.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his step-mother, Magdalena Feldman Booker one brother, Thomas Booker and one sister, Judy Eulene.
