Martin “Marty” McGuire, age 60, of Newbern, Tennessee, passed away on Sunday, January 11, 2026, at West Tennessee Healthcare–Dyersburg Hospital in Dyersburg, Tennessee.
Born on Monday, August 2, 1965, in Dyersburg, Tennessee, Marty was the son of Charles Ronald McGuire and Gail Brooks Warne.
Marty was a people person who never met a stranger. He had a gift for making others feel welcome and valued. He loved working on vehicles and was known for being able to fix just about anything. Marty took great pride in remodeling his home himself, enjoying the satisfaction that came from hard work and craftsmanship.
He was a manufacturing engineer for RESRG in Newbern, Tennessee, where he worked for nearly eleven years. Marty was dedicated to his work and made many lasting friendships during his time there.
Above all else, Marty cherished the time he spent with his family. Whether it was beach trips, Christmas Eve gatherings, pool parties, or simply hanging out together in the shop, those moments meant everything to him. The special memories they shared were the best to Marty, and he truly treasured making meaningful times with those he loved most.
