Martha Emerson Ivy Scharping Obituary

Martha Emerson Ivy Scharping was born into the arms of the angels on September 20, 2025, at Jackson-Madison County General Hospital. Though her time on earth was brief, her presence brought immeasurable love and touched the hearts of all who knew her.

Her name was carefully chosen by her parents for its deep and special meaning, a name that will forever be cherished. She is the beloved daughter of Jacob and Martha Nicole Harrell Scharping of Martin, Tennessee and the precious sister of Malcolm Archer Scharping.

Martha is also survived by her grandparents, Tracey and Auzie Harrell of Martin, Tennessee and Regina and John Wayne Walters of Puryear, Tennessee, along with a host of aunts, uncles, and extended family who loved her dearly. She was preceded in death by her grandfather, Keith Morton Scharping.

Though her time here was short, Martha Emerson Ivy’s life left a lasting imprint of love, reminding us of the beauty and fragility of life. She will forever be remembered, cherished, and carried in the hearts of those who love her.
