With heavy hearts and deep gratitude for a life well-lived, we announce the passing of Marshall Herbert Myers on November 12, 2024, at the age of 85. Born on November 29, 1938, in Halls, Tennessee to the late Marshall Carnell Myers and Ella Mae Vaughn- Myers, Marshall was the beloved son, brother, husband, father, grandfather and great- grandfather who cherished every role with love and dedication. His presence in the church was one of steady support, always willing to lend a hand or a listening ear and he touched the lives of many with his gentle kindness.

Marshall was an avid outdoorsman and found peace and joy in nature. He was happiest with a fishing rod in his hand. He was a duck hunter, fisherman, he also loved to hunt squirrel. The love of his life was fishing and duck hunting. His love for the Atlanta Braves brought him years of excitement, and his enthusiasm for square dancing and Western dancing kept his spirit light and his friendships strong.

Marshall is survived by his devoted wife of 52 years, Anna Frances Barnett-Myers, a constant source of love and support with whom he built a life rich in laughter, shared joys, and unwavering commitment. Their partnership was a beautiful testament to enduring love. Together, they had created a beautiful, combined family that was his pride and joy.

His memory will live on through his stepson Gary Edward Fowler Sr; his grandchildren Michael Myers (Lacy), Spencer Myers (Bethany), Brooke Keith (Ryan), Gary Fowler, Jr. (Lindsey) and Ashley Rahm (John); and eleven great-grandchildren, Lindsey, Michael, Jenna, Victoria, Silvia, Cole, Otto, Cecil, Bailey Grace, Layne Jane, and Grey.
